We walked Zürich slowly with photographer Cornelia Kindsvater and Calma Guide Zürich, and let the city set the pace.

What we found

The Opernhaus in late light, with its muses and gilded lettering from 1891. Calatrava's concrete ribs at Stadelhofen. The curved timber galleries of the law library. Chipperfield's fluted stone at the Kunsthaus. Red Swan chairs, green shutters and golden-hour shadows.

Why it matters for design

Noticing is a creative practice. It is how we design, style and host at PP Studio: slowly, and with intention. The details you train yourself to see on a walk are the same details that make a brand, a table or an invitation feel considered.
